33rd. MEXICO SCHOOL CENTER ANNIVERSARY
The Embassy of Mexico in Belize welcomes the Thirty-Third Anniversary of the founding of the Mexico Technical High School, located in San Roman, Corozal District, built in 1983 with funds commemorating Mexican Independence of Belize, our brother country southern neighbor. This institute is part of the Schools Program "Mexico" in Latin America sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Originally it had 68 students and seven teachers; this successful educational project currently has 744 students and 47 teachers. The Ambassador of Mexico in Belize, Carlos Melendez Quesnel attended today's commemorative ceremony of its foundation, headed by the CEO of the Ministry of Education of Belize, Mr. David Leacock, Director of the School, Mr. Carlos Castillo and the chairlady Board, Ms. Gina Sajia. The Embassy of Mexico congratulates students. Faculty and alumni of the School Mexico, Belize and Mexican pride and tangible sign of cooperation and friendship between us.
